Elmont Islamic Center is trying to build a strong Muslim community and a Masjid in Elmont, NY for Prayer and Islamic education.
The Masjid was established in 2018 as, a nonprofit, religious organization, that transformed from a 2 family house in Elmont, New York to serving thousands of individuals every month through a wide array of services, programs, and daily Salahs.In 2018, the Masjid began to expand the scope of its service activities by establishing a religious parochial school.
This school now has 20-30 students in grades pre-K through 6; learning all subjects such as Islamic Studies and Arabic.
